bricks are bricks

Today in Sunday school a girl told us that if we think we have trials bricks, then we should stop complaining because our bricks are nothing compared to other people's bricks...

and that really bothered me

because bricks are bricks.

And even if somebody else has it much worse, that doesn't really change the fact that you have what you have.”

  2. I'll try not to say too much because the truth is I could go on and on about this.

I agree with you whole heartedly. It really upsets me when people say others have it worse. Well you know what @$#% that! To each their own. EVERYONE has their bricks. EVERYONE has something worthy of cripling over and bursting into tears over. EVERYONE goes through hard times. NO ONE has the right to tell you your bricks are nothing compared to others. Because friggin NO ONE knows what you've been through. What's hard for you. What your limit is. EVERYONE has a breaking point. For the kids starving in China maybe that's their breaking point. To you it may be having a bad hair day. Who knows? You know. Not that girl who told you to stop complaining.

Its okay to have bricks. (Not like I want you to have them but if you do have them don't feel bad for it) its okay to cry sometimes. Its okay to not feel like you can get out of bed. Its okay to eat a gallon of ice cream and watch Netflix all day. Its okay to do what you need to do to take care of your bricks and yourself so long as you aren't hurting yourself or anyone else.

    Sorry for the rant.

  3. amen.

how to be a bad psychologist 101 :

    1. make people feel like their problems are insignificant
    2. interrupt someone else's suffering with your own

    thank you for addressing this.
